Dharamshala-- Tibetan Spiritual Leader Dalai Lama today departed for Kangra airport at around 10:30 am from his residence in Thekchen Choling Meclodganj . He was greeted by Tibetan devotees on the way to the airport.
Upon arrival at the airport,Dalai Lama responded to media queries on the Tawang border clash, saying that things in general are improving across Europe, Africa and China while the latter is also becoming more flexible, however he preferred staying in India and saw no point in returning to China.
As per his schedule, Dalai Lama is first visiting Gurgaon Salwan Education Trust, a school near Delhi, on 21 December, which he had previously visited in 2017.
From 29-31 December, Dalai Lama will give a three-day teaching on Nagarjuna’s “Commentary on Bodhichitta” at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground in Bodhgaya, Bihar.
On 1 January, 2023 Dalai Lama will attend a Long Life Prayer offered to him by the Geluk Tibetan Buddhist Tradition at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground.
