Dharamshala: Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has expressed profound sorrow over the loss of lives caused by the recent earthquake in Venezuela.
In a message of condolence, His Holiness said he was "deeply saddened" by the devastation caused by the powerful earthquake, which claimed numerous lives and left many others injured.
"I have been deeply saddened by the devastation wrought by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, in which so many precious lives have been lost and many more have been injured. I offer my prayers for those who have lost their lives, and express my heartfelt sympathy and concern to all who have been affected by this tragedy," the Dalai Lama said.
He also conveyed his prayers for those who lost their lives and extended heartfelt sympathy to the injured, bereaved families, and everyone affected by the disaster.
The Dalai Lama's message reflects solidarity with the people of Venezuela during this difficult time and expresses hope for relief and recovery efforts in the wake of the tragedy.
