Taking a political swipe at the Himachal government, Thakur said it was unfortunate that the Chief Minister was being seen as “credit-hungry” over the project, when the agreement involved six states and was facilitated through discussions led by the Union government.

Dr. Sood said the employees demonstrated the true spirit of “Swift in Sports, Devoted in Duty” throughout the competition. He appreciated the enthusiasm, discipline and sporting spirit displayed by the participants.

Rajesh Dharmani said that there was immense potential to connect the youth of Himachal Pradesh with Japan's advanced technical expertise, skill development systems and innovation ecosystem. Speaking on cancer care, Dr. Bharti informed that **Day Care Cancer Centres are available at Zonal Hospital Dharamshala and Civil Hospital Nurpur**. Patients undergoing treatment at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, can continue follow-up treatment at these centres. Dr. Anuradha Sharma said patients could collect medicines and consult her office (Room No. 208) to avoid inconvenience.

Her sustained efforts have helped transform tobacco control in Kangra from a programme-driven activity into a **coordinated, field-oriented and community-supported public health movement**. Her approach combines policy implementation with grassroots engagement, enforcement with counselling, and institutional action with community participation, offering a model that can be replicated in other regions.

Dr. Bindal stated that several dues of retired employees, including pensionary benefits, 15 per cent arrears, DA, gratuity, leave encashment, commutation and pay arrears, remain pending. As these liabilities continue to accumulate, individual retirees are suffering substantial financial losses. He added that retired employees are also facing difficulties in getting their medical reimbursement bills cleared.

Dr. Bharti said effective use of digital platforms would make the TB elimination programme more transparent, efficient and results-oriented. He directed teams to complete pending tasks within stipulated timelines, expand X-ray and NAAT testing, ensure coverage of high-risk villages and strengthen patient-centred services.

He said that Himachal Pradesh was known as 'Dev Bhoomi' and that its society has traditionally had a strong religious orientation. If young people today are choosing drug use instead of following their traditional spiritual and religious practices, it also raises questions about the values and upbringing being imparted to them by families and society.

He questioned how any property could be concealed from the Government when details of a politician’s assets and liabilities declared in election affidavits are publicly accessible.
