# A Rakhi of Love, Respect and Gratitude for Brave Soldiers
Dharamshala:** Raksha Bandhan became a truly special and emotional occasion for the students of **Ved Dhara Global School**, as they sent beautiful, self-made Rakhis to the brave soldiers of **13 JAK LI of the Indian Army**, the legendary unit associated with the valour and sacrifice of Captain Vikram Batra, PVC.
The students lovingly prepared the Rakhis themselves as a gesture of love, respect and gratitude towards the soldiers who remain steadfast in the service of the nation. The initiative received an overwhelming response when the Rakhis reached the soldiers.
In a touching gesture, the brave soldiers of 13 JAK LI lovingly tied the Rakhis on their wrists and sent photographs along with a heartfelt video message to the students. The gesture filled the school community with immense pride and emotion.
**School Principal Manoj Joshi** said that for the children, the initiative was much more than simply sending Rakhis. It was an expression of love, gratitude and respect for the soldiers who dedicate themselves to protecting the nation.

The photographs and video sent by the soldiers in return made the Raksha Bandhan celebration even more memorable for the students and teachers of Ved Dhara Global School.
The school family said the occasion was a reminder that although soldiers may remain far away from their families while serving the nation, the entire country stands with them.
