While a rise in social-media followers cannot by itself be treated as a direct measure of electoral support, it does indicate an expanding digital audience for the MLA and his political communication.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA appreciated the Municipal Council’s initiative to develop public spaces and improve the overall environment of the town. He said such facilities provide residents with a clean, green and pleasant place while also contributing to the beautification of Jawalamukhi.

According to the event details shared by the Nagar Parishad, the inauguration will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 3 pm near the Anganwadi Bhawan in Ward No. 7, at the boundary of Wards 5 and 7. Jawalamukhi MLA Sanjay Rattan will inaugurate the project as the chief guest.

He stated that the primary objective of the campaign is to take the message of development carried out by the MLA to every household, strengthen the party at the grassroots level, and prepare young leaders for future political and organizational responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Aditya Pandit stated that Neeraj Sharma Jonty is set to secure victory by a huge margin in this election. According to him, the enthusiasm among residents and the growing support clearly indicate a strong wave in favour of development-oriented leadership.

Addressing the residents during his campaign, Neeraj Sharma said, “The development of Ward No. 5 has always been my primary goal. With the blessings and support of the people, development work in the ward will be accelerated further in the coming time. I have worked for the people and will continue to work in the future as well.”

Our goal is to make Jawalamukhi a model town with equal development in all nine wards. We are committed to providing better infrastructure and civic amenities for both residents and visiting pilgrims,” he added.

Ward No. 5 of the Jawalamukhi Municipal Council has witnessed significant infrastructure development over the past five years, bringing visible improvements in civic amenities. With elections approaching, the ward has once again come into political focus.
