Jawalamukhi, June 21: Former State General Secretary of Youth Congress and newly appointed Municipal Councillor of Jawalamukhi, Neeraj Sharma, has announced that the ‘One Booth–10 Youth’ campaign will be launched across the Jawalamukhi Assembly constituency over the next month. The initiative aims to connect young people with the Congress party’s ideology and inform them about the developmental works being carried out by MLA Sanjay Ratan.

Sharma said that, under the guidance of MLA Sanjay Ratan, committees comprising 10 active youths at each of the 102 polling booths in the constituency will be formed. Dedicated, hardworking, and committed young party workers will be entrusted with organizational responsibilities through these committees.

According to Sharma, a Youth Congress team will conduct an extensive tour of the constituency to identify and shortlist eligible young individuals. The final list will then be presented to MLA Sanjay Ratan for approval and further organizational assignments.

He stated that the primary objective of the campaign is to take the message of development carried out by the MLA to every household, strengthen the party at the grassroots level, and prepare young leaders for future political and organizational responsibilities.

Highlighting the constituency’s progress, Sharma claimed that MLA Sanjay Ratan has ensured balanced development across all parts of Jawalamukhi during the past three years. He said significant work has been undertaken in sectors such as education, healthcare, drinking water supply, road infrastructure, administrative services, and public amenities, benefiting residents throughout the region.

Sharma further asserted that the pace of development would continue to accelerate in the coming years. Criticizing the BJP, he alleged that the opposition was attempting to mislead the public due to discomfort over ongoing development initiatives. He maintained that every Youth Congress worker would firmly counter what he described as misinformation and baseless allegations.

Expressing confidence in the strength of the youth, Sharma said the campaign would help further reinforce the Congress organization at the booth level while ensuring that the party’s policies and developmental achievements reach every section of society.
