Blood Donation Camps, ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and 25-Minute Public Service Initiative to Mark Campaign; BJP to Take Message of Service Door-to-Door in Himachal: Dr. Bindal

Shimla: Bharatiya Janata Party State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that the BJP will organise a nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ from September 17 to October 17, commemorating Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s completion of 25 years of public service as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

Dr. Bindal said the month-long campaign will begin on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and will comprise a series of social service and public welfare programmes across the country.

He said the decision to organise the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan was taken during the BJP’s national office-bearers’ meeting and workshop. The campaign will highlight Prime Minister Modi’s 25-year journey of service, good governance and development.

Dr. Bindal said the campaign will commence with blood donation camps, followed by programmes including the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and several other public service initiatives. Symbolising Prime Minister Modi’s 25 years of service, lakhs of people across the country will devote 25 minutes to serving society in different ways.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey as Chief Minister and Prime Minister has been dedicated to serving the nation and improving the lives of every section of society.

“Whether it is healthcare, education, development, roads, drinking water, electricity, welfare of the poor, farmers’ welfare, youth empowerment or women’s welfare, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently worked with the spirit of service and the objective of taking development to every section of society,” Dr. Bindal said.

He added that Prime Minister Modi has made service, good governance and development the foundation of governance. Empowering the poor, strengthening farmers, creating opportunities for youth, promoting women-led development and strengthening the country’s infrastructure have remained central to this journey.

Extensive Programmes to Be Organised Across Himachal Pradesh

Dr. Bindal said that Himachal Pradesh will also organise extensive programmes under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan from September 17 to October 17. A marathon meeting will be held at the BJP State Office in Shimla to finalise the detailed programme and ensure its effective implementation at the grassroots level.

He said the BJP will ensure that the campaign reaches every section of society and that party workers actively participate in service-oriented activities throughout the state.

Dr. Bindal said “Seva Sarvopari” — service above all — is the message of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and BJP workers will take this message door-to-door across Himachal Pradesh.

“The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan will not merely be a political programme; it will be an effort to transform the spirit of service towards society into a mass movement. BJP workers will reach out to people across Himachal Pradesh and carry forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve of service, good governance and development,” he said.
