She said the land of Buddhist culture symbolised compassion and love, and that the Chief Minister understood the problems of ordinary people because he himself had overcome difficulties through struggle.

Dr. Bindal asserted that the Congress government should abandon the belief that the public could repeatedly be persuaded by unfulfilled promises and political announcements.

No eligible voter should be deprived of the right to vote. At the same time, duplicate and ineligible entries must be identified and addressed strictly in accordance with the law. Maintaining accurate electoral rolls is essential for strengthening public confidence in democracy," Sharma said.

Darshana Singh stressed the need to familiarise the younger generation with important chapters of the country’s political history. Referring to the Emergency and the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, she said such historical events would also be presented before the youth with facts and proper context.

Dr Bindal said the BJP organisation stood firmly on the foundation of “Karyalaya, Karyakarta and Karyakram”—Office, Worker and Programme—and the party would continue expanding its organisational activities across Himachal Pradesh on the strength of these three pillars.

Referring to the Kishau Multipurpose Project, the Chief Minister said that the state government had successfully secured an agreement in accordance with Himachal Pradesh's interests, potentially saving Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 5,000 crore in expenditure on power generation. 

Dr Bindal said the BJP had reorganised its earlier 74 mandals into 171 mandals and created 17 organisational districts in Himachal Pradesh. The organisational structure has also been constituted at nearly 8,000 polling booths, while the formation of various morchas and cells has been completed.

From serving the nation as a soldier to serving the people as an elected representative and minister, Major Vijay Singh Mankotia devoted a significant part of his life to the country and Himachal Pradesh. His demise is an irreparable loss to the state’s public life,” Dr Bindal said.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhawala said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an inspiration for the youth of the country. He said that under Modi’s leadership, several initiatives and schemes are being implemented to help young people develop their talents, enhance their skills and access new opportunities.

While a rise in social-media followers cannot by itself be treated as a direct measure of electoral support, it does indicate an expanding digital audience for the MLA and his political communication.
