Kangana Ranaut Alleges MPLADS Funds for Mandi Constituency Are Stuck with District Administration
Mandi- Mandi Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has alleged that funds allocated under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) for her constituency are being held up at the district administration level, delaying several development projects across the region.
Addressing a gathering of BJP workers in Karsog, Kangana claimed that despite the availability of funds, administrative delays have prevented the timely execution of various public welfare and infrastructure projects. She said that proposals recommended under her MPLADS quota have not moved forward as expected, affecting development activities in different parts of the constituency.
The MP expressed concern over what she described as slow administrative processing and stated that several important projects could be implemented more quickly if the pending proposals were cleared in time. She emphasized that development works should not suffer due to procedural delays and called for greater coordination between elected representatives and government officials.
Kangana further said that the people of Mandi deserve timely execution of development initiatives and that approved funds should be utilized without unnecessary hold-ups.
As of the time of filing this report, no official response had been issued by the Mandi district administration regarding the allegations. The administration's version on the matter is still awaited. Mandi MP claims delays at the Deputy Commissioner's office are affecting development works; district administration yet to respond.
