## **BJP State Co-Incharge Darshana Singh Says Political Tradition Will Change in Himachal**
**Hamirpur:** BJP Himachal Pradesh State Co-Incharge **Darshana Singh** called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and remain prepared for upcoming political challenges while addressing the BJP State Office-Bearers’ Meeting at Thakur Ram Singh Memorial Trust, Tipper, Hamirpur.
Beginning her address by paying homage to Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh, Darshana Singh invoked the blessings of Mata Chintpurni, Mata Naina Devi and Mata Jwala Ji. She said that she shares an old and emotional association with Himachal Pradesh and described the state as her second home.
She said that under the leadership of Prime Minister **Narendra Modi**, cultural nationalism has received new strength in the country. Accusing the Congress and the Left of misleading the younger generation, she said the BJP would respond to such narratives on the basis of facts and historical evidence.
Darshana Singh stressed the need to familiarise the younger generation with important chapters of the country’s political history. Referring to the Emergency and the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, she said such historical events would also be presented before the youth with facts and proper context.
She accused the Congress of promoting family-centric politics and said that the BJP is a cadre- and worker-based organisation. According to her, the strength of the party lies in its dedicated workers working at the booth level.
She said the BJP would work with the resolve to **change the political tradition in Himachal Pradesh this time**. The organisation would focus on strengthening its network up to the booth level and increasing the participation of party workers.
She urged party functionaries to remain connected with people and strengthen the organisation at the grassroots so that the BJP can effectively face the upcoming political challenges in the state.
