Shimla, June 2: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday completed his self-enumeration through the online portal under the Census-2027 self-enumeration drive. During the process, Director of Census Operations, Himachal Pradesh, Deep Shikha Sharma, along with senior officials, briefed the Chief Minister on the digital census system and its features.

The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to actively participate in the self-enumeration exercise and complete their registration by June 15, 2026. He said the Census plays a crucial role in democratic governance and development planning by providing accurate information about population, family conditions, housing, resources, and access to public services.
