From there, Nadda will head towards Sundernagar in Mandi district by road where he is scheduled to participate in another felicitation programme and a road show. The BJP president will inaugurate the newly constructed BJP office in Sundernagar and and will join a 'Rath Yatra,' being held as part of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. He will then leave for Kullu for a night stay and depart for the national capital the next day, Nanda said.

Earlier, floral tributes were offered at War Memorial Dharamshala and a road show was also carried out on foot from Trends Mall enroute to the venue. A large number of people participated in the road show wearing traditional clothes of their respective districts.

Police said the roadshow would start at 3pm on Monday and that there would be mass public participation in the programme.Police said commuters going to the railway stations of New Delhi, Old Delhi and Nizamuddin and ISBT and IGI Airport should leave early as there could be traffic delays.
