This new addition will bring IHCL's total number of hotels in Himachal Pradesh to 13, with eight currently under development. The strategic expansion in McLeodganj is part of IHCL's broader initiative to strengthen its hotel network across key leisure destinations in the state, which include Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Naldhera, and Sirmaur.

Sukhu said that it has been observed that during the last few sessions of the Vidhan Sabha, the opposition raises its matter in the House and stages walkout at the time of reply by the minister. He asked the opposition to responsibly adhere to the constitutional norms and duties inside the House. He further stated that the opposition is divided on several issues and lacks coordination.

This welcome gate was inaugrated by Colonel Sunil Sharma of 4 Dogra. Prominent persons of the city and Ex-service men of the area were also present on the ocassion. Colnel Sharma traced the history of the Dogra Regiment and louded the role of the Jawans towards National security alongwith social service.

Later while interacting with the media at Chintpurni, the Chief Minister stated that the state government was actively working towards providing all the basic amenities to facilitate the visitors touring the holy shrine of Shree Mata Chintpurni, besides other temples.

The Chief Minister emphasized his understanding of the employees' struggles, being the son of a government employee himself. He stated that the restoration of the old pension was prioritized in the first cabinet meeting after the formation of the new government, in order to preserve the employees' self-respect. He acknowledged the immense contribution of the state's employees to its development and expressed the government's high appreciation for their efforts.

He said that the newly inaugurated McLeodganj Bus Stand will play a vital role in enhancing facilities for tourists, offering modern amenities and parking for over 250 cars. The proposed Dharamshala Bus Stand is expected to be constructed promptly, further enhancing the transportation infrastructure of the area.
