Speaking of the success of Bharat Innovates, he noted that the platform is a model of innovation diplomacy. Elaborating on his participation in the G7 Summit in Evian, he stated that India firmly stands for creating trust based international partnerships, where the Global South is treated as an equal partner. Prime Minister noted that India’s talent, skill and innovation were helping the world come up with solutions to challenges in the digital age. He invited the diaspora to contribute towards India’s progress and become a partner in its Viksit Bharat journey.

While GCC states have so far refrained from joining offensive operations, their rhetoric has hardened. The unprecedented unity displayed in their collective condemnation signals a potential shift. Some analysts suggest that if the attacks continue, Gulf states might lift their restrictions on the US using their bases for strikes on Iran . This would mark a dramatic escalation and a definitive end to their policy of hedging between the superpowers.

He said that a special exhibition of handcrafted shawls will be organised on the first day of the festival, highlighting the traditional weaving and handicraft heritage of various districts of the State, offering visitors a comprehensive glimpse into the State’s economic and cultural diversity.

He stated that to ensure a seamless investor experience, the state has integrated 180 services into a unified single-window portal. Significant policy shifts have also been implemented, including revised construction regulations that allow for 70% land utilization for industrial buildings. Furthermore, the government has notified 13 new large and micro-industrial areas to accommodate the surge in demand.

The Chief Minister noted the effectiveness of Pangyo’s structured accelerator programmes, specialised testbeds, and performance-driven evaluation mechanisms. He said that similar approaches can be adapted in Mohali to strengthen Punjab’s startup ecosystem, R&D capabilities, and high-skilled employment generation. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is the need of hour to give further fillip to the comprehensive development of Mohali.

Another farmer explained that there are four varieties of tea—black tea, white tea, oolong tea, and green tea. She elaborated that oolong tea is 40% fermented. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi remarked that white tea has a significant market these days, to which the farmer agreed. The farmers also displayed a variety of vegetables and fruits like brinjal, mango grown through natural farming across seasons.

He mentioned that Shri Narasimha Rao's tenure as Prime Minister was marked by significant measures that opened India to global markets, fostering a new era of economic development.

Industry leaders also expressed their views on the occasion. Shri Pranav Adani, Director Adani Group and Managing Director (Agro, Oil & Gas) said that Uttarakhand has become one the most attractive destinations for private sector investment because of the state's approach to its growth and development 

The Prime Minister began the address to the house by conveying the best wishes on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. He noted today’s occasion when the proceedings of the House will be taking place in the new building of the Parliament. “We are heading to the new Parliament building with the resolve and determination to transform India into a developed nation”, the Prime Minister said.
