Sond submitted his clarification before the Singh Sahiban at the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Speaking to the media after the proceedings, he stated that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is the supreme institution of the Sikhs, and every direction issued by the Singh Sahiban is akin to a divine command and is binding on all.

The Vice-President recalled his visit to the Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib to pay his humble respects on the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He described Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji as a beacon of moral courage whose life and sacrifice belong to all of humanity.

Student Harkamaldeep Singh from School of Eminence, Ghanauri Kalan, represented as the Chief Minister; Harpreet Singh from Government Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Kot Dhandhal, represented as the Leader of Opposition; Jagmandar Singh from HSN School of Eminence, Jaito, represented as the Speaker; and Dishant Kumar from Government Senior Secondary School, Rurki Khas, represented as the Deputy Speaker.

He highlighted that students have been selected from various government schools across the state who will play the role of the Chief Minister, Speaker, Ministers, MLAs and the opposition in this Mock student session. This is a historic step which will connect education with democratic procedures.

Highlighting the scale of preparations, S. Bains detailed significant development works, including the painting of the holy city white,. Besides, he said that the Heritage Street is being established. He also announced to establish a new corridor to link Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib and Gurdwara Kesgarh Sahib.

In addition, an impressive Light & Sound Show was organised at the multipurpose sports stadium of Nehru Memorial Government College, Mansa, where hundreds of devotees attended. Water Resources Minister Punjab, S. Barinder Kumar Goyal, along with MLA Mansa S. Vijay Singla, MLA Budhlada Principal Budh Ram, MLA Sardulgarh Gurpreet Singh Banawali and local devotees were present on the occasion.
