Kangra (Himachal Pradesh): In a commendable initiative to boost scientific curiosity among students, a complete model of Chandrayaan-3 equipped with a QR code has been enstalled within the campus of Government Senior Secondary School, Bharoli Kohala, located near Jawalamukhi in Kangra district.
The innovative installation aims to enhance students’ interest and understanding in the field of space physics and modern space exploration. The model replicates key components of India’s historic lunar mission, offering students a visual and interactive learning experience right within their school premises.
According to Physics Lecturer Ravinder Sharma, who shared the development through his social media post, the addition of a QR code makes the model even more engaging. By scanning the code, students can instantly access detailed digital information about Chandrayaan-3, including its mission objectives, structure, and scientific achievements.
“This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding,” Sharma stated. “It will inspire students to take a deeper interest in science, particularly in space research and physics.”
The move has been widely appreciated as a step toward integrating technology with education, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. Teachers believe that such hands-on and visual learning tools can significantly improve comprehension and motivate students to pursue careers in science and technology.
The Chandrayaan-3 mission, which marked a significant milestone for India in lunar exploration, continues to inspire young minds across the country. With this model now enstalled in the school campus, students of Bharoli Kohala will have a daily source of inspiration right in front of them.
